VersionEye supports multi file projects since a couple weeks. That means that you can have a project at VersionEye with multiple project files from different package managers. In the project settings tab you can merge the current project into another one! Simple choose the “parent” project you want to merge in and click the “merge” button.
That feature is used frequently by our users. If you have a lot of projects that merging dialog can be confusing. Up to now you only saw a list of projects you can merge into. But you didn’t know which of them is already a “parent” project and which not. And the list was not sorted alphabetically! We just improved that!
In the current version the list list sorted alphabetically and the parent projects are marked. Now it looks like this:
That gives you a much better overview of the projects you can merge into!
