We just launched a new feature. The Release Recoginizer. This piece of software recognizes releases, alphas, betas and more. And it makes them visible. On the detail pages, in the “other versions” section you will now see something like that:
All Versions who are not a stable release are marked in a different color.
In the projects we make it visible, too. If a library you are using in your project is out-dated, and there is a newer stable version available, we are marking that red. If it is out-dated and there is a newer version available, but it is not stable, we are marking it yellow.
Unknown Libraries we are marking beige.
And known and up-to-date libraries we are marking white.
